The Venue

Nestled in the green hills of County Wicklow, Sheepwalk House is a beautifully preserved 18th-century farmhouse — all stone walls, creaking character, and countryside views that go on forever.

With nine bedrooms in the main house and four cosy cottages set around a lovely courtyard, it's a place that feels like it was made for exactly this kind of gathering.

Expect sea views, wildflower meadows, and the kind of midsummer evening light that makes everything golden.

Finding your way

Getting Here

The ceremony is at Nuns Cross Church, Ashford at 2:00 PM. After the ceremony the party moves to Sheepwalk House for the reception — a short, beautiful drive through the Wicklow countryside.

Sheepwalk House is just over an hour from Dublin City, easily accessible from all major Irish cities, Dublin Airport, and the ferryports via the N11/M11.

Ample free parking at both the church and Sheepwalk House. Accommodation is on us — so feel free to enjoy the day fully and leave the car.

We want you all with us — so accommodation at Sheepwalk is our treat. The estate has a beautifully restored 18th-century farmhouse and four cosy cottages set around the courtyard.

Sheepwalk House

The grand 18th-century farmhouse itself — nine bedrooms, the heart of the estate. Perfect for a large family or a group of friends.

Pony House

A charming self-catering cottage set around the courtyard. Cosy and full of character, ideal for smaller groups.

The Barn

A beautifully converted barn with rustic charm and modern comfort. Perfect for a relaxed countryside stay.

The Granary

A cosy hideaway tucked into the courtyard. Full of character — a lovely romantic retreat for couples.

Coach House

A stylish self-catering cottage with space and privacy, set alongside the main estate buildings.

What to wear

Dress Code

Think bohemian garden party: flowing fabrics, earthy tones, florals, linen. Dress for a long, warm evening that might spill into the summer night air.

The grounds at Sheepwalk are natural and grassy, so high heels may meet their match — wedges or comfortable footwear are very much encouraged.

A few notes to help you dress the part:

The Feast

We want you well fed throughout the day — from arrival canapés to the evening buffet. There will be plenty of food. It is BYOB, so bring your favourite bottles and we will keep the glasses full. Please note any dietary requirements in your RSVP.

FAQs

Yes — Sheepwalk House has ample free parking on site. If you're planning to enjoy the bar properly, we'd encourage you to arrange a lift, book accommodation, or sort a taxi so you can drink freely and worry-free.
The ceremony is at Nuns Cross Church, Ashford at 2:00 PM sharp. Please be seated by 1:50 PM. After the ceremony, everyone makes their way to Sheepwalk House for the reception — we will have directions ready for you.
Accommodation at Sheepwalk House is on us — our gift to you. You do not need to book or pay for anything. We will be in touch with your room details ahead of the day. If you have specific preferences or requirements, just pop them in your RSVP.
Nothing at all — accommodation is fully taken care of. Just bring yourself, your dancing shoes, and a readiness for a wonderful night. We will send room details closer to the date.
Your presence is the greatest gift. If you'd like to contribute something, we'll share details closer to the date. A card with your words and wishes means the world to us.
Yes! It's BYOB — bring whatever you love to drink. We'll have glasses, ice, and good company sorted. The more the merrier.
